3rd Release Candidate
This is the third release candidate for FoA.
Simon, the host of the German GameDev Podcast played the game on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2276087635) and I got some valuable feedback from this, which is now included into the game:
- The controller focus and the mouse hover don't fight each other in the inventory
- When a controller is connected but not used, the controller pointer is hidden
- The bookstands are less tall
- The texts in Randuras' Books contain less anachronisms
- The houses that previously had no doors now have locked doors
- The meat in the first loot room does not clip through the pillar
- Attacking an enemy from behind makes more damage
- Quicksave
- Autosave when using doors
- Automatically loading the last savegame when the player dies
- Johnny*
* I won't explain this, since this would spoil the surprise...
The one XBox controller bug regarding the button binding change is still in the game, so I will have to fix it before releasing the stable version 1.2.0.
Best regards,
Carsten
